Since 2005, Nell & Dave have worked together as producer, director, writer, camera, editor making films for TV, Newspapers, Institutions, Charities and Corporates.
Clients include: EDF, Tokamak Energy, Nuffield Foundation, Institute of Physics, The Guardian, Ten Alps, Save the Children, Oxford University.
In 2015 their debut feature film premiered at London's East End Film festival. A taut autobiographical triple-hander 'This is Not Happening' is an awkward younger brother's story set in Hastings, East Sussex where they now live.
In 2016 they won first prize for Shore Scripts Feature competition with 'The Assessor'. In the past they've been nominated for an RTS award and winning a BUVFC award.
In 2017 both Nell and Dave received John Brabourne Emerging Talent Awards (JBA) to develop feature script 'No Freehold' and make short film 'Dad's Last Day'.
Nell and Dave were Shore Scripts Semi-Finalists in both 2017 with ‘Murder Gardens’ and 2018 with ‘Brightness’.
'The Assessor' is currently under option by Stephen Woolley at Number 9 Films and Mrs&MrThomas are represented by Julia Kreitman at The Agency.
Nell and Dave live in Hastings with their two daughters Alice and Martha.
